Spirituality 101

Unlike popular belief, spirituality isn't necessarily the search for God, joining a cult, becoming a sage and exiling to the forest. No. It's not really any of that. All of these might be some of the ways people follow spirituality but it is just an aspect of it. In the true sense, spirituality is the process of development  of oneself. It is seeking to understand the true nature of our system to upgrade it and evolve along with it. 
In nature, every organism is trying to reach its highest potential- from a tree to a lion, every organism is striving to reach its maximum level. Every one but us. Sadly, we as humans have limited our strive to reach our highest level to only one field: academics and economics. Now I may have mentioned two but both are similar in nature. It just depends on what stage of our life we are at now; when we were kids, we we told to focus on our studies, as we grow up we learn to focus on our wallets. Other people who decide to become spiritual get lost in the religion business. Well again, religion is one small product of spirituality. Just like if you overuse your smartphone, it can easily disrupt and cripple your life; so can religion if followed blindly without understanding the real meaning of the teachings. 
In this entire process we ignore the main aspect of life: life itself. We have made it so complicated that in order to even start our lives we have to first go through the manual for atleast 20 years! Now that is just lousy programming.
To understand the inner sciences which are continuously at play; to understand the technology which is ourselves; to understand the true nature of our being; to understand the souce of creation and to evolve along with it- that is the meaning of spirituality. Spirituality  is not devoid of science. It is in fact one of the most sophisticated science- it is the inner science. The science which is at play within you, within me, in an insect as well as a bird or a lion. The inner science. And spirituality is also cosmic science. No matter which aspect of spirituality you are dealing with, it is a science.
Please do not take my word as the truth without first analysing it with your logic and intelligence. Only if it makes sense to you, only then accept it. Through this blog, we will try to uncover some of the superstitions surrounding spirituality as we try to understand the actual science and logic behind it. The identity of a person changes with how they perceive reality.  This we call as "personality".  This personality works as a framework of how the person responds in various aspects of life. This works similar to that as a software function in any gadget. Based up the existing preset, the gadget responds to various input.  Simply by gradually changing our perception to various aspects of life, we can develop a new identity, a new personality. We are already doing it all the time. Just unconscious about it.
